As a member of Core Team you will develop, deploy and support electronic trading solutions using client's development framework.

You should have 8+ years of experience building and deploying core Java systems and some experience or interest in electronic trading (FIX protocol, trading message workflows especially equities and foreign exchange...).

Our client delivers financial institutions a complete electronic trading environment that gives control and flexibility in developing high-speed, low-touch, protocol and asset class agnostic systems. Offices are in Prague, London and Auckland.

• At least 8 years core Java experience.
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Awareness of distributed enterprise patterns.
• Experience with multi-threading and real-time systems.
• Experience with low-latency and garbage free code.
• Ideally some experience in working off heap memory, Lmax Disrupter, Chronicle or similar software.

• Knowledge of distributed server-side systems is a strong plus.
• Strong ability to analyze and profile code.
• Strong ability to push good software development principles.
• Identify performance bottlenecks.
• Implement automated integration and performance tests.
• A working knowledge of English language.
• Good communication skills.
• Awareness and interest of working in an Agile manner.
• Awareness of cloud architectures like Kubernetes.
